Yay! I am here in South Korea safe and sound. Didn't start out so well though. The guy who was supposed to pick me up couldn't show because his car broke down. I am told it's the first time that happened when used to pick up people coming from other countries...okay, what does this mean?! So I waited 2 hours just waiting and then ended up taking a taxi cab and the driver, knowing I am new to this country, charged me outrageous amount of money for 20-minute drive. Shame on him.
The time change is always hard to adjust. I was awake when I should've been sleeping and vice versa. Sure glad I brought along Melatonin! Then when I woke up this morning, I learned my body had hosted a feast for mosquitoes while I was sleeping. I had bite marks in several places. I joked that my blood must taste really good and I am certainly getting a memorable welcome to Korea (don't know if I should laugh or cry).
Despite my not-so-smooth start, I am grateful that I am in one piece being cared for by nice, helpful people. I am excited about my study. Life is good and my heart is full of gratitude for this opportunity to be here and embark on another new healing/learning journey.

Who among us doesn't want to be loved whether by other people or from within ourselves?! We all do want to love and be loved. And yet we can experience the very opposite of love in life for various reasons.
As often is the case, being aware of this human condition is the first important step and then further steps can be taken to manifest what we want, namely, LOVE. Watch this and know and believe YOU ARE LOVED.

I read an inspiring article by Russell Bishop (author and performance improvement consultant) on finding source of inspiration. Very insightful. In his article, Mr. Bishop shares the following three keys to an inspired life:
Listen. Listen to your own self, to what you say to your own self and what you say to others. What do you tell yourself about your life? What do you tell others? Do you ever find more than one voice or conversation going on in your own head? Do you ever disagree with your own self? Just noticing your own voice can open up many avenues for inspiration.
Awareness. Perhaps the most important key, awareness will allow you to notice in more detail what you are experiencing as you move through life, what you are experiencing from moment to moment.
Intention and Focus. It's pretty hard to get somewhere without focus. If you can focus, listen and remain aware as you move through life, you may be surprised at how many choices open up. If you don't know where to start, start where you are.
